Purity graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi in 2016. She visited Kiraria Primary, where she attended as a child, to share her experiences and promote higher education. Purity is now a mentor to one of our Imani Scholars, and will work with her student as a counsellor and friend throughout her mentee’s education and transition into the work environment.

Ideally, mentors should reside in the same city as their student. To learn more about becoming a mentor, please contact us for more information.

In the photo below, students are doing projects in the math and science lab at St. Mary’s Girls’ High School in Igoji, Meru County. Purity graduated from St. Mary’s, which is a highly rated National High School from which many students can go on to higher education with the right support.
