“Our ever growing family of capable and compassionate Imani Scholars become humble leaders to serve their families, communities and country, and to be a positive force for change in the world.”
When Purity graduated from the University of Nairobi in 2016 with a degree in Civil Engineering, she was celebrated with an honor guard and parade in her hometown of Meru. Now in 2020, she is a mentor to one of our younger Imani Scholars in high school who wants to pursue engineering as a career. Purity is leading by example, and is a force for positive change.
